Trip Overview

An alternative to the challenging but classic route to the stunning Himalayas of the Everest region is the Tokyo Valley Trek route. Famous for its stunning 5 lakes, the Gokyo Valley is a spiritual place. Massive mountains protect the green lakes, and their reflections in the clear lakes are a spectacle that must be seen to be believed. Gokyo Ri Peak is another significant trekking highlight, located at (5,357m). This is the greatest and the most famous viewpoint of Mt. Everest from where we may be able to relish 360-degree panoramic pictures of Everest. At 4,790 meters, we will pass through the mysterious Bhotekoshi Valley and the captivating Renjo La Pass. In addition, we will go over the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier.

Trekking this route offers a wide variety of scenery, including views of the emerald-colored high-altitude lakes, the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in the Himalayas, and Everest as well as other mountains with elevations of 8,000 meters or higher from the summit of Gokyo Ri.
