Trip Overview

You may spend a half day seeing the Kathmandu Valley with this Langtang Gosainkunda Trek. The oldest city in the Kathmandu Valley and the location of your tour is Patan Durbar Square. It is the oldest Buddhist city in the world and is well-recognized for its artistic legacy. Swyambhunath Stupa, which is located at the peak of Kathmandu Valley, is another location you may tour while you are here. It is a sacred location for Buddhist monks and is sometimes referred to as the “Monkey Temple.” Additionally, you will visit the most well-known lake, Gosainkunda Lake. It is a sacred site for all Hindus. At an elevation of 4,380 meters, there are several holy lakes. And it is thought that if someone is guilty of sin, they may go there and have all of their sins washed away. Along the route, you’ll pass through a variety of landscapes, including hills, terraced farms, streams, waterfalls, subtropical to alpine forests, and very scenic mountains. It will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about Tamang and Sherpa culture in this region. You will appreciate the kind welcome of the locals there who will serve you traditional Nepali fare.
