Trip Overview

The Lower Mustang area is located on the southern edge of the Tibetan plateau and is home to the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan ranges. This is undoubtedly one of the most rewarding and well-known treks, taking you within a short amount of time without going to a high height to the edge of the Mustang valley and kingdom. Additionally, trekking through the Lower Mustang region allows you to experience adventure. The trek area is made up of astounding height differences and biological variety, making the entire area brimming with Mother Nature’s beauty.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu and be transferred to your accommodation.
  • Day 2 : Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple), and Patan Durbar Square are all part of the Kathmandu City Tour.
  • Day 3 : Fly to Pokhara, then take a boat out on Phewa Lake and hike to Sarangkot.
  • Day 4 : Drive to Nayapul, trek to Birethanti, then trek to Tikedhunga
  • Day 5 : Trek to Ghorapani
  • Day 6 : Poon Hill Sunrise, Tatopani Trek to Hot Springs.
  • Day 7 : Trek to Ghasa in the Mustang District.
  • Day 8 : Trek to Tukuche
  • Day 9 : Trek to Kagbeni via Marpha and Jomson.
  • Day 10 : Trek to Muktinath via Jharkot. Visit the Eternal Flame and Temple.
  • Day 11 : Trek back to Jomsom
  • Day 12 : Fly to Pokhara Visit David Falls, Shiva Cave, and Seti Gorge while in Pokhara.
  • Day 13 : Fly to Kathmandu
  • Day 14 : Kathmandu - After breakfast, the tour is over. Includes transfer for departure

Trip Cost Exclusion

  • Flights internationally, airport fees, and visa costs for Nepal

  • Personal items, a sleeping bag, and a down jacket are all needed for a walk.
