Trip Overview

At 8,516 meters (27,940 ft), Lhotse is the fourth-highest mountain in the world. It is distinctive in that it can be reached using almost the same path as Mount Everest. The path to camp 4 is identical to the one used by Tenzing and Hillary on their 1953 first ascent of Everest, and the dates we have selected offer the best weather of the year.
