Trip Overview

The South West Ridge of Ama Dablam is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but it is also a top-notch alpine route because to its simplicity, sound rock, and truly superb summit day on steep and exposed snow slopes. Climbers will be rewarded not only by the technical difficulty of the ascent but also by the expansive vistas of the Everest group, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and a large number of other peaks.

Our team warms up on the neighboring 6,119-meter (20,075-foot) Lobuche East before attempting Ama Dablam, providing climbers access to our exclusive Base Camp amenities as well as opportunity to brush up on their abilities, acclimate, and be ready for the rigors ahead.

Trip Highlight

  • Summits of Lobuche East 6119M, Island Peak 6189M, or Ama Dablam 6810M (Acclimatisation training peak)
  • Route over the south-west ridge, Camps 1 and 2 (maybe Camps 2.9 or 3)
  • 10–12 days in Ama Dablam Base Camp, at elevations of 4570 m and above
  • The expedition's guide-to-climber ratio was one to one.
