The flying season in Nepal runs from November through February, with November and December being the best months to go gliding because it is a weather-dependent sport. These flights take off and land at Sarangkot (1592 m), which provides excellent views of the Fewa lake and mountains at sunrise and sunset (assuming the skies are clear). No prior flying experience is necessary because qualified pilots give a briefing before takeoff.
From Pokhara, you’ll take a 20-minute jeep journey to the viewpoint at Sarangkot. Three of the world’s tallest mountains are seen from here. Over 8000 m Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manasalu. From here, we provide 3 different types of tandem flights.
